Admission to Galgotias University BCom take place through the CUET-UG exam. If a candidate has secured 70% in Class 12 board exams they are eligible for admission in the BCom programme but they would have to give the CUET-UG exam to secure admission in the university. Admission in the programme is only finalised when candidates have appeared for the CUET entrance exam and have paid some amount of the tuition fees upon selection.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi is generally considered to be a better college than DNLU Jabalpur.
BHU is a renowned university known for its academic excellence. In 2024, NIRF ranked BHU #11 overall.
If you consider my suggestion choosing a good college would more depend on your distance from that college as well as the course you are choosing for.

NTA CUET UG 2026 notification will release in first week of March 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admissions process for the BCom programme at Galgotias University will start once the results of the admission are out. Candidates appearing for admission at the university should note that the application fees for CUET and BCom admissions are different.

Shivdan Singh Institute of Technology and Management has cut-off CUET for the programme and category.
Mostly, admissions are based on JEE Main and UPTAC cutoffs in case of undergraduate programs, namely B.Tech courses. Specific cutoff information regarding CUET is not much available, but merit counts in general. CUET higher scores will increase chances for admission.
Overall, for UPTAC admissions of the year 2024, this cutoff rank varied at different ranges with many numbers.

NTA will release CUET application form 2026 in the first week of March. Candidates need to register within this time frame to appear for admissions in 2026. The exam is slated to take place sometime around May-June; the admission process for the BCom programme at Galgotias University will start after that.

The entrance for Shivdan Singh Institute of Technology and Management can be said to be slightly more competitive but with a fair share depending on courses and also the gates that one pass in the entrance exam.
For undergraduate levels such as in B.Tech, JEE main or UPTAC must be qualified, since the cut-offs are normally very easy to clear as compared to that of prestigious institutions.
Other courses, such as BBA or BCA will offer direct admission based on the candidate's past performance record.
