Hi Mayank, for a chemical engineer the two better subjects for specialization are TQM (Total Quality Management) and Operations if he wants to pursue his career in chemical engineering or related field (such as in Bulk drugs, Pharmaceutical formulations, Research work etc. ).
However if one wants to go in a different field such as IT after doing MBA then of course specialization in IT Infrastructure can be a good choice. At the same time the personal interest of the person in the kind of work he would like to do, should play the bigger role in selecting the specialization subject.
Thanks.

IET, Lucknow is far better than the UPES Dehradun as UPES is a private college and IET, Lucknow is a government college. UPES stands nowhere in the national ranking but IET does.

Hello Prince, I can understand your angst but if you are prepared with studies then do not worry. There will be no overlap of papers. Alternatively you can think of taking break of one year for study and clear backlog and then resume studies.
Best wishes.

Hi Anupam,
The syllabus of Integrated B.Sc+M.Sc in Economics is not mentioned on the official website of the university. You may rather contact the university for the details. There are sample question papers though, which will give you an idea about the syllabus and exam pattern:

Electronics & Communication is perhaps an evergreen subject of study. Research in this field is going on for any years and I am sure it will continue for years to come. Just have no worries in this aspect. You will have plenty of job opportunities after obtaining your doctorate.

Hello Biman,
It's very nice to know your desire. Firstly, you have to decide as to from which university you want to do Ph.D. Secondly, you need to appear for and clear entrance test conducted to select students who can register for Ph.D. Thirdly, you need to get accepted by the guide for this programme. Then, with his guidance, you need to register and start the process.
