Biology program at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has been gradually rising in the general category as well as in the SC/ST/PWD reserved categories. The competitiveness of the General Category has also increased for the applicants; the cutoff mark has increased from 79.5% in 2016 to 84.5% in 2020. The SC/ST/PWD cutoff percentages have also risen overtime from 62.5% in 2016 to 67.5% in 2020.

Yes the management quotas are still open for the admission so kindly take all relevant documents such as SSC AND HSC marks card for the admission procedure.

BHU affiliated colleges has 21 girls hostel.There is a separate hostel facility for international students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system etc. It is recommended to check the official website of the college or contact the college directly for hostels and accommodation details, fees structures for hostels and other updated details.

The expected cut-off for an MSc in forensic Science at BHU for the year 2024 will depend on the category to which the student belongs.

1. for students belonging to general categories- the cut-off will be 205.

2. for students belonging to OBC- the cut-off will be 186.

3. for students belonging to Sc- the cut-off will be 178.

Agriculture: The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) cut-off for OBC candidates can change every year because it depends on exam difficulty as well applicant performance. For the most recent information on cut-offs, it is better to visit their official websiteBHUBHU or CUET Admission Portal. Normally after the exam results, cut-off scores are declared that is a minimum mark needed to consider eligible for admission. Well, you may simply go and check from BHU admission office for the OBC category cutoff but according to ifxyou online cut-offs list it is 305.

The durations of the regular BPharma programme and the lateral entry programme are four and three years, respectively. Admission to the regular programme is provided based on the CUET UG scores.

Kashi Institute of Technology has specified the minimum eligibility requirement for candidates seeking admission to its BPharma programme. The same has been given below:

  • Class 12 or equivalent examination from recognised board, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in the above-mentioned subjects
