According to the MGKVP reviews available on Shiksha.com, BPharma students of various MGKVP-affiliated institutes provided an average rating of 3.9 stars (out of 5) to BPharma placements at MGKVP Varanasi. In some institutes, students need to maintain a minimum aggregate score during the course duration to be eligible to participate in the placement drive. Students commented that BPharma students get placed at a salary package ranging from INR 2.5 LPA to INR 5 LPA. The placement rate is over 50%. Top recruiting companies that are known to have visited the campus for placements include Sun Pharma, Lupin, Mankind, Cipla, etc.

There is no provision for direct admissions at MGKV for BPharma. The sleection criteria is merit based with the college accepting CUET scores for the same. For top branches like CSE and Mathematics and Computing, the maximum required cutoff ranks for admission were 1489 and 1924 in the last round.
