Vidyasagar University is a state university which was established in 1978. This university was established by the Government of West Bengal. Being a state university, the fee for various courses is not very high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they don't need to worry. The university offers scholarships to students from time to time as financial assistance in collaboration with various industries and companies. The seats for the scholarships are limited so apply as soon as the application opens.

Yes, Jadavpur University offer full-time MCA course through its Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Admission to the programme is completely entrance-based. Candidates need to take the WBJEE JECA entrance examination and secure a good score to get a seat in this course. Moreover, only the course aspirants fulfilling the minimum eligibility requirements as prescribed by the university are eligible for admission to this course.

IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under all India, opening rank was 10576 and closing rank was 14054. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 17061 and 18915. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Technology in IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, the cut off was 45621 for General category candidates in all India quota for BTech in Mechanical Engineering at IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology. For female candidates from General category under all India quota, 58917 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Hostel fee varies for various studnets and also depends on the type of room that you choose.
There will be a seperate hostel for men and women.
If you choose a non AC room then the fee will be around 75000 per person and also it reduces as the person in a single room increases.
If two persons occupy a single room then the fee will be around 100000.
It will be a better option to choose a room with 4 students.
If you choose AC room then the normal fee per annum will be around 100000 and if only 2 persons are using a single room then it will be 1.5L per person for a year, actually it's quite expensive so if you find a better place outsid

Yes, After clearing the entrance exam you need to pay INR 50000 as an advance for admission which will be subtracted from your actual fee that you need to pay as a college fee.
But a bitter fact is that they will not return you the money that you pay during admission.
You must think twice or thrice before paying the admission fee,
But there is a another way where you can hold your seat by paying some particular amount of money stating that you have a shortage of money.

The fees you pay entirely depends on your previous mark records, if you have a 90 score in your previous exam then only it will be 60000 per year if you opt any engineering degree.
The actual fee without any scholarship is 200000.
The term scholarship refers to the fee reduced as of your mark.
Apart from the semester fee you need to pay seperately to college bus if you wish to come to college by using college bus .
But using college bus is not compulsory.
College bus fee details:
AC: 50000/- per year
Non AC: 40000/-per year
And the hostel fee is seperate apart from the college fee.
Both AC and non AC rooms are available in hostel.

Yes, but it depends on the course that you take.
If you are choosing a engineering degree on the following departments (CSE, IT, CSE (IOT), AIDS, CYBER SECURITY, ECE) you might not worry about the placements if you are good in your studies and skills.
