At the postgraduate level, the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur offers M.Sc. In Applied Geology. Yes, IIEST Shibpur is good for a Master's degree in Geology as the college is a well-ranked one. The placements offered here are also great. Admission to M.Sc. There's Class assessment exams every month. Four of them occurs throughout the semester and two practical assessments. One of the class assessment marks is added to the semester marks. The average score of both the semester, i.e. , the SGPA is the CGPA of a student every year.

If a student fails internal exams in Future Institute of Engineering and Management anyhow, their parents are called to discuss about it. Attendance is really strict, too. You need to be attentive in order to not fail in internals. Even if you do, you can overcome next time.

This is difficult to answer but in particular department there's more strength than others. Like, CSE department have a strength of approximately 150 every year, so as ECE and IT. Comparatively, EE, ME and Civil engineering have less strength. So, about 400 is the approximate strength of student of each batch.

Some helpful tips to the Freshers being a final year student, is that you need to be respectful and polite towards the professors. And you should follow basic rules and regulations provided by them. Despite of having all the extra curriculum fun, you need to be careful about assignment and exam deadlines every time. Focus on studies and enjoy college life to the fullest.

There's no particular dress code to follow in Future Institute of engineering and management. But, there are some rules and regulations to be followed to choose an outfit for college. It prefers conservative outfits most of the times. I hope my answer was helpful.

To get admission in Future Institute of Engineering and Management, for B.Tech, atleast 60% marks is needed in board examinations and a WBJEE rank of within 20k and JEE MAINS rank of within 60k is required, approximately.
