The criteria for admission is divided on the basis of category. It means, for unreserved (general) category, a student must have completed graduation with 55% marks and for reserved category there is 10% relaxation of marks for OBC and 25% marks relaxation for SC and ST.

The entrance exam for the course you have choose will be conducted on May 27, 2018. Result of the exam will be announced in the second or third week of June. The exam will be of descriptive format of 2 hours. Generally, in the entrance of journalism and mass communication the capability of the students are checked. Comprehension skills, language skills, vocabulary, general knowledge, current affairs, history of communication and journalism, politics are some of the major aspects upon which the questions are asked.

Candidate with 50% marks at graduation level is applicable for the admission. University conducts an entrance test, that student must have to clear. The placement status of the college is good. The highest package offered is 7.5 LPA (approximately). It is said by one of the students that recently 65 students have been placed by the college. It has a list of reputed recruiters. It is considered good in terms of faculty, infrastructure, environment etc.
