IBS-Kolkata isn't a great option, as neither it is a reputed brand name (IBS, Hyderabad being the only decent one) nor it ranks under the top 50 colleges across India. There are no restrictions. If you have a good caliber, you will land up with a good job. MDIM is better than the newer IIM's as far as placements (ROI) and campus life are concerned.

Basic eligibility to secure admission in Ramakrishna Mission Residential College for B.Sc is mentioned below:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 with a relevant stream. Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a compulsory subject from a recognized board of education to take admission in the program.
Admission is based on merit based on marks obtained in class 12th.
