Yes, it is very important to have past academics, not only for IIMs for PGDM program, but for any good b-school. If good b-school is overlooking the same, then it will not be beneficial for you.

As per the requirement of the companies, normally they do recruitment and it will be a confidential information for the companies for a while. But, there is lot of requirement in the country for finance professionals.

None of them are good actually. Curriculum is outdated and not even close to the industry standards. You can go for Globsyn Business School. It has excellent industry tie ups, rigorous curriculum, eminent faculty members and good alumnus network.

The admission of IHM's are based on the rank in NCHMCT exams then the 12th percentage. 60% is the minimum eligibility to appear for NCHMCT.
