Admissions into the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) will only depend on the marks obtained in an entrance examination, for example, JEE Main or the institute's entrance exam. The admission process cut-offs of the Institute depend on the strength of applicants as well as on the availability of seats. This way, the cut-off varies year to year. The cut-off for JEE Main usually falls in line with the total merit and category of a candidate. It might be better to visit GNIT's official site or contact the admission office for up-to-date cutoff details along with the eligibility criteria for each course.

Hostel mess food is perceived as pretty good at Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex as the students are satisfied having their meals here. The mess has been very much loved by the students for its variety of vegetarian food including both North Indian and South Indian dishes. The food taste and quality vary from time to time, like any other hostel facilities. There are students with various comments regarding it. While some mention a need of improvement in variety and taste, some are good with basic cleanliness and nutrition. Regular feedback is usually taken on improving food quality.

While it follows that the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) commonly declares its semester exam results just within the weeks following the completion of the semester exams, this time frame is generally not for all courses and academic calendars.

For the most precise information on when semester exam results will be available, it is better to check the official IPGMER website or contact the examination office at the institution directly.
