At the international level, IIM Calcutta has ranked 76 under the ‘Global MBA’ category by the Financial Times Ranking 2023. On the other hand, the institute is ranked between 501-530 in the QS WUR Ranking 2023 by Subject.

Admission to the PG Diploma offered at IISWBM Kolkata is merit-based. Candidates have to appear for a written, group discussion and personal interview (GDPI) round depending upon the Diploma course they want to pursue. The institute will shortlist candidates on the basis of merit secured by them in all of the above state admission criteria.

Yes, aspirants who have applied for multiple courses are eligible for merit list of all the opted course/ session subject to fulfilment of merit list criteria and payment of application fee. Aspirants can select any of the course for admission at BESC Kolkata.

Yes, candidates need to complete Class 12 to apply for The Bhawanipur Education Society College BCom (Hons) programme. Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in best of four subjects and 45% marks in the subject or related subject in the qualifying examination to apply for BCom (Hons). Aspirants with 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination can also apply.
