This course is offered across the same nine specialisations as of BTech course. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Students who have passed Pass Diploma with 45% aggregate from any AICTE-approved institute (40% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to apply.

For admission to BTech at MCKV, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects (in both theory and practical) (40% aggregate for reserved category) and Class 12 with 30% aggregate in English from a recognised board. The selection is based in the qualifying score of entrance exams such as JEE Main or WBJEE.
