The university website mentions that admission to B.Tech programs requires qualifying scores in either IEMJEE (conducted by UEM itself), WBJEE, or JEE Main. While specific marks aren't mentioned, these exams are competitive, so aiming for a high score is recommended.

UEM Kolkata conducts its own entrance exam, IEMJEE, for some programs. The cutoff list for these programs will likely be released after the IEMJEE exam is conducted and evaluated.

UEM Kolkata might also consider scores from the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) for admissions to specific engineering programs. If WBJEE scores are involved, the cutoff list release will depend on the WBJEE schedule. Here's what we know about the WBJEE timeline for 2024:

    • Admit Card Download: April 18, 2024
    • Exam Date: April 28, 2024

No, The highest Placement package offered in this college is of 3-3.5 LPA which considered as below average. So if you are thinking of joining this college based on the placement record it will be a big no for you, but if you have good skills you can try in of-campus and after joining this college don't rely on the college placements but if you are planning to go to abroad for higher studies then you can prefer this college or if you have your family business or something then you can join this college
