There is no prior experience or knowledge required in the domain you want to specialize in. You can specialize in Finance despite of your education background.
Plus, your academic background and specialization does not play a role in your admission process.

1. Study regularly, take out time for at least three subjects in a day. Work more on those subjects, in which you feel you are weaker than other subjects.
2. Do not leave any subject for more than 2-3 days. Every subject should be taken up for study at least in every alternate day.
3. Devote at least 6-7 hours for self study. Take out a bit of time for relaxing and entertaining also.
4. Whenever you study, don't sit for too long continuously. Take one or two short breaks of 5-10 minutes

If you go with BBA after 12 then most probably you can clear your commerce basics in the curriculum itself. However BBA is more focused on marketing than finance or commerce. So it will not be a tough call for you. Also you can check out the syllabus of the course on the university website in which you are going to take admission. Also keep in mind to check out the placements and overall ranking of the university .
