Students who want to study Geography courses at the UG level (BA Geography) need to complete their 12th grade from a recognised board. Most colleges allow students from all streams to study Geography as long as they graduate with a minimum of a 40-45% score. Students do not need to compulsorily study Geography in school if they wish to pursue it in their UG. However, students do have to clear entrance exams like CUET to pursue Geography. It is advised that students check the eligibility criteria of the colleges they wish to apply to.
