If you are good at negotiations and communication then go for HR or marketing, if you are good at mathematics then you can go for finance. There are other streams available like operations, hospitality, etc. Do proper research before choosing.

Hi,Ph.D (Commerce) is a 3- 5-year course. Eligibility for the course is a postgraduate course in Commerce, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Bachelor in Technology from recognized University. Admission process for the course may vary for every college. Thanks.

The basics you need to learn is:
1. Accounts
2. Taxation
3. Commerce terminologies
4. MS Excel
5. Statistics
Although in first and 2nd semester, they will cover the basics then from 2nd year onwards you will learn the specialization subjects in depth.

There are some private colleges and universities, which offer Ph.D without clearing JRF, but in that case you do not get any fellowship. Good luck.
