Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune is among one of those colleges who have they own entrance exam. Symbiosis conducts it's own exam known as SET (SYMBIOSIS ENTRANCE TEST) and the admission further depends on the 12th percentage and the merit list of this SET examination.

Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune is among one of those colleges who have they own entrance exams for admissions into many UG and PG courses. Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has exam such as SET/SNAP etc. There are various factors which affect the cut off such as-:

Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune is a private institute which was established in 1983. It offers courses like BA, BCom, BA Hons, BCom Hons, BCom with ACCA, MA, MCom and the admission to these course is merit based.The college offers many scholarships, in addition to freeships and free studentship schemes and the college has good placement background as well.

Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune is a leading private educational institute. Student can apply for admissions via online mode, once their 10+2 results from H.S.C. Maharashtra Board examinations are declared. Admissions are directly offered to students on the basis of merit. Jai Hind College is for Bachelor of commerce and KPB Hinduja college is for Bachelor of commerce in accounts and finance. They both are in Mumbai and offers all streams ( art, Science and commerce). If we compare both these colleges on basis of ranking then Jai Hind college is ranked as 23 out of 50 top colleges and hinduja college is ranked 21 out of 50 top colleges. The fees of jai hind college is (INR 23600) per semester and for KPB Hinduja college, it is (INR 55398) per semester. Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune does have good placement opportunities. It has an active placement cell which ensures that the students are bestowed with good opportunities and get good placements as per they skills and knowledge. Over the past few years, they had the Big 4s (Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) and various other corporate giants on campus including the D.E. Shaw Group, Wipro, Goldman Sachs.

The figures of placements of both the college's in 2022-2023 is as follows-:

Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune-: Around 218 students got placed in various 30 companies and the highest salary package offered to students was almost Rs. 21.5 LPA and the median salary package offered was Rs. 5.3 LPA UG and Rs. 7.3 LPA PG respectively.

Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics-: According to the college prospectus 2023, the highest and average package offered was INR 19.25 LPA and INR 4.25 LPA during NM College placements 2023, respectively.
