There is a common myth that only Science stream candidates can apply for the MCA course. This is not correct. Anyone who had Maths as one of the subjects in 12th can apply for the MCA course. Masters of Computer Applications is a post graduate course in the field of computers which is ideal for students who love computers. The MCA course will make you expert in the fields of:

Hardware Technology
Apart from what I wrote in the beginning there are some other requirements to get admission for MCA course:
1. You should have Maths as one of the subjects in 12th board or graduation course.
2. You must complete graduation from a recognised university.
3. You need to score around 50-60 percent marks in graduation course. This criteria is different for each entrance exam and university. Therefore please check with the university you wish to apply.
4. If you meet the requirements 1,2,3 then you can appear in almost every single entrance exam for MCA. Basically there are several entrance exams for MCA course. Some universities even conduct exam of their own. Try to pass the MCA course with at least 60 to 70 percent for job in good MNC. Most leading IT companies would not accept a candidate who has scored below 60 percent marks in Masters of Computer Applications course. However apart from MCA. Your performance in 10th, 12th and B.Com would also be evaluated. If meet the requirements, you can get job in IT companies like:

B.Com Stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Generally a 3 years long course. B.A. Stands for Bachelor of Business Administration. 3 years long course. B. M. S. stands for Bachelor of Management Science. 3 years long course. CA stands for Chartered Accountancy. Duration depends on how you take training and clear exams. Integrated Law course. Duration is 5 years. It is a combination of General Graduation course and L. B. S. stands for Bachelor of Business Studies. Course duration is 3 years. BHM stands for Bachelor of Hotel Management. Course duration is 4 years. B.E. Stands for Bachelor of Economics. Course duration is 3 years. BFA stands for Bachelor of Finance and Accounting. Course duration is 3 years. BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. Course duration is 3 years. B.Sc. Applied Mathematics. Course duration is 3 years. B.Sc. Statistics. Course duration is 3 years. B. M. stands for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Media. Course duration is 3 years. B.Sc. Animation and Multimedia. Course duration is 3 years. B.E. M. stands for Bachelor of Event Management. Course duration is 3 years. B. F. D. stands for Bachelor of Fashion Design. Course duration is 3-4 years. B. El. Ed. Stands for Bachelor of Elementary Education. Course duration is 4 years. B.P.Ed. Stands for Bachelor of Physical Education. Course duration is 1 year. D. El. Ed. Stands for Diploma in Elementary Education. Course duration is generally 2 years. BSW stands for Bachelor of Social Work. Course duration is 3 years. Those were some top professional courses that one may do after 12th Commerce schooling. Please note that all courses have not been listed in the above list. Some vocational, Diploma as well as Certificate level courses have not been mentioned.

B.A. (Hons), and B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics are nearly all same. The course curriculum varies in each. Also, affiliated University plays a major role in deciding the Degree. Above all B.A. Is the simple graduation in which you've to study Arts/Social Sc Subjects for 3 whole years. B.A. (HonS) is mastering the Honours subject in final year. B.Sc. (hons) is also the same thing albeit in B.Sc. You'll have more of mathematics and calculative part as compared to the counterparts. I'll give my own example. I and my other two friends are pursuing graduation in Economics. I'm from BHU, one is from Delhi University and the other one is from Calcutta University. We all study the same thing. But, I & my friend from DU will be awarded B.A. (Hons)-Economics and the Calcutta guy will be awarded B.Sc. (Hons)-Economics. Overall, Degree don't matters. What matters is from where it is being pursued.
