Dear aspirant choosing a course is depend upon ones interest as well as personal liking towards that particular.B.Com and BA both the courses are good in its own position.As you are telling that you want to do the MA course, So I think you should go for the BA course rather then B.Com course.BA- Bachelor of Business Administration course is Bac

It depends on the specialisation you want to choose after graduation.
If you want to go for MBA afterwards then you should go for BBA/B.Com as it will help you to make your base strong.
Regarding theory, in every field, you will have a mixture of both theory and practical or mathematical problems.
