See, doing your own business and doing a job for a firm are different aspects of same kind of studies.
If you want to pursue business - choose the area of business and study in that field. This will help in knowing about the product and its marketing strategies. I will explain this further in next paragraph. But, if you have plans for job then BBA + MBA (choose expertise subject like HR, Marketing, Finance, etc.) from good college will help in getting a job.
Coming back to business. For eg. if you want to do garments business, you need to have the knowledge about garments, what kind of infrastructure required etc. your commerce back

If you want to become a lecturer, you'll have to complete you Bachelors and Masters and then qualify in the UGC NET exam for lectureship.
Since you've done 12th commerce, you can opt for B.Com now (which is a 3 year Bachelors degree) and after completion of B.Com, you can opt for M.Com (which is a 2 year Masters degree). But you will have to score well in both the exams in order to qualify for the NET test.
All the best.

I would suggest you to continue with commerce stream as you have already completed 11th in that stream. If you choose to shift from commerce to arts, you might have difficulty to cope up due to new subjects in arts stream.
I would suggest you to put in more efforts and if possible take help from coaching classes or a private tutor who will help you score well in your 12th. And then if you want after your 12th you can decide which stream you want to opt for depending on your interests.
All the best.
