You have to re-appear for exams if failed in 1-2 subject to be promoted to class 12. But, if you fail in more subjects, you have to repeat the whole academic year all over again.

Your question is a bit confusing. Please confirm whether your friend has done 10+2 with PCMB combination of subjects or Commerce stream. If he / she has done PCMB, they are eligible to take B.Sc (any subject) in a Science college.

Dear,
It is good if you pursue the undergraduate course seriously and convert a good result. I have seen one history Honours boy working as medical representative in a top Pharmaceutical company with reputation. A good student can succeed in any field that suits him better. Employers need output at the end of day.

If you think you do not want to take Maths, as you not able to concentrate, you can think about changing the stream. First of all, decide on your interest area and your career plans. This will help you in choosing the subject wisely.

Dear,
With this CGPA, it will be difficult to get admission in India and abroad. For further education in regular mode, you need to improve your CGPA in upcoming semester or year examination or ask your college for improvement process.
If you cross 55-60%, you can think of a good university abroad and in an Indian universities as well.
All the best

If you don't want to go with B.Com & BBA then go for BCA. There are some colleges offering BCA to students who completed their secondary education without maths. Check for those colleges, definitely you can find a good ones.
Best of luck!
