Once S K Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce releases BA and BCom meirt lists 2023, selected candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff will receive offer letter. Candidates with offer letters must follow the following steps:

Step 1: Login to the official admissions website of S K Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce at admissions.somaiya.edu

Step 2: Select the application number of S K Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce

Step 3: On the next page, click on the Complete now – for Program Allotment status process.

Step 4: On the next page click on Accept (If candidate wants to take admission) 

Step 5: Pay the fees.

Step 2: Go to the application 

Step 3: Click on Completed 

Step 4: On the next page, if there is Rejection due to improper document then reiplaod the Document (left side-document upload section)

Statistics is a branch of mathematics that involves the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, andorganisationof data. LPU offers BSc (Hons.) Statistics in tie-up with IBM to bridge the gap from campus to corporate world and to upskill the minds according to the needs of industry and academia, . Programme provides the knowledge of traditional theoretical methods in support with modern statistical tools. LPU has joined hands with the tech giant IBM to integrate the emerging technologies with the experiential learning at undergraduate level which includes the access to enterprise software, delivery by IBM designated experts, real time industry case study and research methodologies. In addition to applied and theoretical aspects of statistics, the curriculum lays a strong foundation in other domains, such as mathematics, computers and data analytics. A broad base of training in the important areas of statistics, data analytics and mathematics will allow the student to successfully progress into professional employment, academics and research.

The eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English and Maths) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNESTor CUET.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

There is 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
