You should have a minimum score of 50 percent at least to be eligible to apply for admission in the premium design colleges. Rest, the admission majorly depends on your performance in the entrance exam which is a 2 stage test: General ability test and creative ability test.

Since you have asked this question in design thread, I am assuming that you want to opt for any Master's degree course in Design after completing your M.Tech in computer science. If it is so then you can go for any design course depending on your interest in jewellery, clothing or shoes, etc., or if you want to use your skills of computer science, you can understand the needs of particular department and design required software or application for the same.
