Try going for a Diploma in graphics, and then pursue Bachelor's degree may be. In this way, your time won't get wasted if you didn't qualify. And try again.

Hi Ajay!
The registration date for NID Entrance Exam has already passed. It was in October for all the UG and PG courses offered by the institute. Also, there is no specific course for painting at NID.

Hi Pushpa, You can appear for NID entrance in 2019 as the entrance test has already taken place for 2018 batch. Also, for NID, you should know that your age should be maximum 20 years while applying for a UG course. NIFT is also a premium college for design courses but again, you cannot appear for 2018 batch as you have missed the entrance exam. Maximum age to be eligible for NIFT is 23 years. So, you still have a chance to apply for the UG course next year. Also, I would suggest you to check the PGD courses in design rather than pursuing another UG course.

No, it is not compulsory to take up Science in class 12. She can take up any of the streams in Class 12 (Arts, commerce, or Science). She should take up arts, as that will be better suited to her future designs. For admission to NID, there is an entrance exam which she will need to clear, and also needs to clear her class 12 examinations successfully. Regards.

Hi Shovik!
Pearl Academy is one of the top institutions in India for fashion design. The academy is turning out to be a well constructed academy with the leading alumni of the fashion industry supporting it. Now that the FDCI has joined hand with them to introduce fashion programs with an opportunity to showcase student collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week, I don't think any other academy of Delhi can beat these benchmarks. As fa as communication design is concerned, the professionals working in this field emerge as dynamic people qualified to offer the most effective and financially viable communication solutions for the fashion

Hi,
One can't really compare both of them, because both of them have their own specialisation. So, it depends on your personal choice, if you are more into designing apparel then you should go for fashion designing and if you like working on software more and photography, styling then you should go for fashion communication. Though these days fashion communication is in demand. So, if you want higher salary package, then you should go for fashion communication.
