Hi Shovik!
Pearl Academy is one of the top institutions in India for fashion design. The academy is turning out to be a well constructed academy with the leading alumni of the fashion industry supporting it. Now that the FDCI has joined hand with them to introduce fashion programs with an opportunity to showcase student collection at the Amazon India Fashion Week, I don't think any other academy of Delhi can beat these benchmarks. Hi,
One can't really compare both of them, because both of them have their own specialisation. So, it depends on your personal choice, if you are more into designing apparel then you should go for fashion designing and if you like working on software more and photography, styling then you should go for fashion communication. Though these days fashion communication is in demand. So, if you want higher salary package, then you should go for fashion communication.

Hi Ameya,
You should have a minimum score of 50 percent at least to be eligible to apply for admission in the premium design colleges. Rest, the admission majorly depends on your performance in the entrance exam which is a 2 stage test: General ability test and creative ability test.

I have seen the fields that you are interested in, which can only be fulfilled by B.Tech course followed by some extra training courses that many institute offers or you can go training institute also. Your area of interest is very good and appreciative. I suggest you to go for B.Tech, then go for M.Tech for specialization. If I am not wrong, then you are already enrolled in some course, because the question you posted 2 years ago.
