Hello Yes,
Colleges or institutions in Mumbai can be catagories as Govt, private, CGFI, IIT or Private University. You need to appear for and clear only three exams. MHT CET, IIT Mains and IIT Advanced to get admission to any one of the college.

Yes, but the pay scale depends on your skills and you can earn more by doing an M.Tech with some specializations like big data analysis and on the current trends. On an average, a B.Tech graduate in CSE would earn between 3-6 LPA.
But with good work experience and an M.Tech in CSE or any specialization you can earn around 10-20 lakhs per annum easily.
