Hi. MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is a professional Masters degree in computer Science. It focuses on providing a theoretical as well as practical training to students in the related field. Computer Applications is the use of a computer to solve a problem or to accomplish a particular job. This course is designed to meet up with the demand for qualified professionals in the IT field. The MCA course comprises of four contents like Mathematics behind Computer sciences, concepts in core computers and systems Science, non-core computer courses and software development or design. One can pursue MCA after the completion of a Bachelors degree. Basically, the graduates of Bachelors of Computer Applications BCA pursue MCA. The course emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation. If you continue B.A. Then try to hold good % marks. Then go for MCA. Because there is no way to take direct admission in MCA.

In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech students. Let me share few details of this programme at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with upgrade which helps students to explore themselves more in their field.
