Admission to B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at Chandigarh University is based on CUCET or JEE Main scores. Students with 60% or more in 10+2 (with Physics and Maths) are eligible. Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) Coimbatore does not accept JEE Mains scores for admission into B.E./B.Tech programs—its admissions are based solely on TNEA rank (Class 12th marks in Physics, Chemistry, Math) through Anna University, not on JEE Mains or JoSAA counseling.

based on previous years:

  • For General category students:

    • Class 12 PCM scores above 70–75% are typically competitive.

    • JEE Main percentile in the 65–85 range could make you eligible.

  • Reserved categories and state quota candidates may have lower cutoffs.
