A rank of over 1 lakh in JEE will depend on the institute's cutoff, for getting admission in B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at Satya Institute of Technology and Management (SITM), the number of seats, category, and overall competition being the factors to give significance.
Normally, low cutoffs are there for CSE in top institutes, while in private institutes like SITM, the cutoffs for the program would be high especially for the popular branches like CSE. However, if your friend is from any reserved category or has some other preference like home state quota, it could be beneficial.

Yes, you can easily get admission at Ramdeo College with 95.97 percentile in JEE and 110 marks in MHT CET for B.Tech CSE. Your JEE alone score is enough to get admission as the Institute requires score of only one entrance exam for B.Tech. 97.97 percentile in JEE is quite good score and you have a high chances of getting admission without any problem. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech at this Institute is that you should have minimum 50% aggregate in your 12th (PCM) from a recognized board and you need to appear in any one entrance exam JEE Main, MHT CET, RUBEE, or CUET.

Newer NITs and IIITs: Some newer NITs and IIITs may have higher cutoffs, potentially accommodating candidates with ranks up to 70,000. However, securing a seat in CSE or EE at these institutions with a 72,000 OBC rank is still uncertain.
Private engineering colleges often have more flexible admission criteria. Institutions like Manipal University, VIT University, and LPU may offer CSE and EE programs with a 94 percentile, though it's essential to verify their specific admission requirements.

Although it mostly offers undergraduate research-based degrees, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is recognised as one of the best universities in India for B.Tech CSE. However R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE), BMS College of Engineering, and PES University are regarded as the leading candidates in Bangalore for a more conventional B.Tech degree.
With its stellar academic record, industry connections, and placement opportunities—particularly in CSE—RVCE distinguishes out among them. Top tech businesses like Google, Amazon and Microsoft regularly hire people through RVCE and their average compensation packages rang

The faculty for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University is generally considered competent. Many professors have advanced degrees and industry experience, which helps in delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical insights. However, the quality of teaching can vary, so it's helpful to gather feedback from current students or alumni. Overall, the university offers a good foundation, but staying proactive in your studies is key to making the most of your education.
