Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering offers B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) for candidates who qualified through Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET). Since your marks are 63 marks in ECET, you are eligible. The college accepts the ECET scores for its B. Tech programs and candidates who qualified in 10+2 mathematics, physics, and chemistry also qualify in the ECET exams. The admissions will be based on merit list based on the scores obtained by candidates in the ECET in the process of counseling. Full admission to B.Tech course you need to be a class 12 pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects from recognised board. You must also have studied with the physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12th
Selection are through on the basis of your WBJEE score card. You must appear for the WBJEE exam, which is generally held in last week of April.

But, please note that getting a CSE branch also depends on your performance in the entrance test conducted by VIT or whichever major entrance test you appear for. The cutoff for B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at UEM Kolkata varies. The cutoff depends on some factors such as the entrance exam and category. As for the WBJEE 2024 exam, the closing ranks were 4,146 in Round 1, 5,975 in Round 2, and 8,796 in Round 3.
