You must take the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) in order to be admitted to VIT Vellore's Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a Data Science specialisation. Since admissions are merit-based, achieving a high VITEEE rank is a requirement of the selection process. Take part in the counselling procedure following the results announcement, when seats are assigned according to your rank and desire. Make sure you fulfil the requirements for qualifying, which usually include having a minimum grade point average in math, physics, and chemistry in your 12th grade.

You may not have many possibilities to pursue Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at government colleges if you scored in the top 25 percentile of JEE Mains under the SC category from West Bengal, but you still have options at state-level universities and private colleges. Depending on the cutoff and seat availability, some government schools, such as the Government College of Engineering & Ceramic Technology and Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, may provide CSE. Private universities with excellent CSE programs include Heritage Institute of Technology and Haldia Institute of Technology. They may also have more accessible cut-of

A number of Delhi-based universities charge between 6 and 8 Lacs INR a year for their B.Tech. degrees in Data Science or Computer Science Engineering (CSE). Prominent choices comprise colleges connected with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), such as Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering and Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. These universities are good options for students looking for an inexpensive engineering education in Delhi because of their reputation for providing high-quality instruction, modern facilities, and respectable placement rates.

JEE Main rank is accepted by both DTU and IIT Delhi, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to various BTech specialisations. According to the JAC Delhi Round 1 cutoff 2025, the closing rank for CSE admission for the General AI category was 2285. While for IIT Delhi it was 8171.

Therefore, going by the cutoff for both institutions, IIT Delhi is relatively easier for CSE admissions. Although those candidates who qualified for DTU can view other parameters to consider for a better, more knowledgeable decision.

CollegeCSE Total Tuition FeesAverage Package
DTUINR 6.87 LakhINR 15.45 Lakh
IIIT DelhiINR 19.55 LakhINR 25.39 Lakh

As B.Tech comes under the Category of UG Courses in the field of Courses regarding different Categories. And both JK Lakshmipat Univsersity and Jagannath Unversity are good for getting enrolled in B.Tech regarding Computer Science and Engineering. Coming with the Score or rating from candidates and Faculty we have JKLU with rating of 4.0/5.0 and JUJ have 3.3/5.0 of rating. So, surely I would consider the rating and you must try for JKLU regarding B.Tech as your UG Course.
