The University has not revealed the average package for CSE or other branches. However, the course-wise median package is available in the NIRF report 2024. As per the report, the median package for UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) courses indicates an improving trend from 2021 to 2023. Take a look at the below table for Bharathiar University Coimbatore placement package trends:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 21710 and closing rank was 24093 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 29402 and 34462. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in NIT Sikkim is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the most popular BTech specialisations. In 2022 placements at NIT Calicut, a 100% placement was recorded for the CSE branch. As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, the institute is was ranked 31 among the top Engineering institutions in the country. Thus, it is a good college for BTech CSE aspirants.

GATE Mizoram accepts GATE score for admission to the M.Tech courses. GATE 2023 counselling was concluded after Round 1 for most of the M.Tech specialisations. As per the NIT Mizoram cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for MTech in Computer Science and Technology was 371for the General All India category student. In 2022, the Round 1 closing rank for M.Tech in CSE stood at 363. Comparing the NIT Mizoram M.Tech cutoff 2023 with the previous year Round 1 closing rank, NIT Mizoram witnessed a decling trend for M.Tech in CSE for the General All India category student.

placements comparison civil vs CSE at (IEC University B.Tech).
- there are dcent no of companies across the board
- opprtinities are always better in techinical genres
- civil is comparitively lighter compared to CSE in normal studies if you have good knowledge in physics and alll
- the scope of placements are just better in CSE
- the avg You can get is about 6-7 in CSE
- for Civil the avg may drop drastically
- in civil its bit tough to touch 7-8 Lacs while in Cse its far more superiors
- depend upon the spectrum of knowledge

Hello Ranjana Sharma, as I can see it getting admission in the current academic year appears to be quite tough but may not be impossible. By now the normal admission process for almost all the colleges across India is coming to an end. But if you desire you can approach some private colleges for admission under management quota. The fees the process etc. are not very difficult but you need to approach your desired college directly and speak to them on telephone so that you will get the correct answer and perhaps possibly admission into your desired branch of engineering.

NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 35937. For the General AI category students, the JEE Main last round closing ranks varied between 35937 and 81562, with B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering being the most competitive branch for admission.
