Please write about the college name for better response. However the eligibility criteria of NIT MCA Common Entrance Test NIMCET is given below for an idea. Eligibility : Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in (I) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognised University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects or (ii)B.E. / B.Tech. Hello Asha Latha, you have completed your diploma in the year 1996 and now you are seeking lateral entry for doing graduation in BCA. Right? I am afraid lateral admissions are only allowed in engineering graduation courses in which a student who has done diploma is given admission directly into second year of 4 year degree course. But for graduation in any other course this facility is perhaps not available. You will have to take admission only in the first year of the degree course.
