Hi,
The basic eligibility for admission to BCA is a pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from any recognised board of education with English as a subject of study. Some colleges prefer students from science stream or who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.

Dear Gautam,
To become a windows/software developer, you must go for B.Tech because in BCA, you will not be able to learn core computer engineering. You must have an excellent command over coding-decoding and other stuff which you can only learn in B.Tech. For reference, go and check the syllabus and course structure of B.Tech and BCA and compare between the two. You will get the answer by your own.
Kindly upvote the answer if you feel satisfied.

Good luck.
