Hello Tanishka,
MCA post graduates are hired both by government agencies NTPC, GAIL, BHEL,etc. and private IT companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, American Express, HCL, HP and so on. As a fresher, an MCA professional can expect anything around 2.4 to 3.4 lakhs, and with experience, sky is the limit. With some years of experience, a software engineer can become a team leader, an analyst, a project manager, a general manager and so on.
The following are some of the jobs that a MCA graduate would do :
1.Software Developer/Programmer/Engineer
2.Troubleshooter
3.System Analyst
4.Software Application Architect
5.Software
...more

Hi Akshay, since you have 1 year experience in IT engineering then you must go IT project management as IT management will give you a specialization in that particular field in which you had done before. Otherwise, both the streams are good. But according to my suggestion, IT management will push you in that direction in which you are already moving. Kindly up vote the answer if you feel satisfied.
Best of luck.

It will be ideal for you as a technical resource to do ABAP but if you are not interested in coding, you can choose any functional specialization in which you have interest and some basic knowledge. Basedon market requirements, SAP HANA is best option for you as it has maximum job opportunities.

Hello Shanaya,
You have completed diploma in computer science and now you want to have career in 'Interior Design "? See, what we study after 10th many a times is normally what our parents wants us to do. But let me assure you that there are many shining example when students have not touched engineering after completing it but became highly successful in their other chosen field. If you feel passion for ID, then just go ahead. Don't worry.
