Both these courses are same but if want to make your career in IT sector then go for BCA. BCA is a hot and demanding career in these days. This is the right path to make a good career in IT industry.

Hi Prince,
Game industry roles are well diversified. I answered a console game workflow sometime back (Rajat Ojha's answer to What is the workflow for developing console games?). Of course mobile games are less demanding but you need to first figure out what you want to do in the game industry. Considering the fact that you want to be a programmer, its a great start. Focus on problem solving and mathematics as much as you can. Technologies will keep changing, basics dont.
You can pick any simple game engine like Unity of Game Maker. Id suggest to go with Unity as community is huge, tons of videos, samples etc youll get and its very relev

Distance and Regular are two different types of course selection. Regular is on daily basis you attend classes. Distance is you sit at home and study and write exams in the place alloted. So converting distance into regular is not a easy option.

Both are the best, popular, prestigious and govt. reputed universities! Comparing both of this, the first priority should be given to SRM! But if you are getting VIT then go for it!
