Surensdra, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. BBA:
A BBA gets you entry-level positions in many corporations and factories. You would do lot of backend work, and provide support services to your seniors. Exceptional candidates could expect to do some customer interface, though it is very rare. Also invariably, you would hit the glass ceiling very fast, and would require an MBA to move up the ladder. Since the degree will equip a student of BBA with the basic knowledge about corporate management and skills it will help them understand the diverse functioning of a company. BBA graduates can look for jobs in sales and marketing department of companies as members of sales teams or as management trainees.
BCA:
Being a growing field, there are a lot of opportunities available for a person pursuing MCA or BCA. It is advisable to take work experience after doing BCA and then enroll for MCA as scope for a good position broadens if a person has relevant work experience along with the necessary skill sets. The courses focus on making the student familiar with technical languages at the bachelor's level and taking a specialization at the master's level. After pursuing the necessary educational qualification a person can seek job opportunity in the field of software developer, web designer, systems management, etc.
BHMCT:
Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is an undergraduate course, which can be completed with 4 year time duration. The 4-year course study is further divided in to 8 successive semesters of 6 month each. This professional course, emphases adequate working knowledge and skills in candidate to do well in hospitality sector.

Yes it is possible for you to switch over to hotel management field. It is always advisable to pursue a course which interests you. Also you will be able to excel in your career only if you have the required skills in the field chosen.

Hi Omkar, first I will advise you to be cool and relax. You need not stressed thinking about MCA or MBA. There are many courses you can choose to do. Since you are in 3rd year now first you should focus on getting excellent result in semesters so that you can increase your chances to apply in good colleges and universities. Do you like animation ?. If you have interest in drawing, painting, doing something creative then you can do animation course. But, the most important thing after your BSc ( IT ) should be that you start working and become independent and confident. While working you will realize your potential and skills which will help you in giving clarity about your future and career. Also, if you still have confusion then start teaching in a coaching institute in a subject of your choice in your free time. It will help you in keeping momentum with the changing trends.
