Yes you could do it for sure. Industrial Design Centre at IIT, Powai offers PG in creative segment of Animation & Design. Even NID offers the same. Admission to both programs are through entrance. If you are creative, do consider the option.
Gaming is a highly exciting, youthful career. It needs lot of passion, patience and Creativity to become Game Designer. Ensure that you possess it.
