Yes, the students seeking admission have to appear for PUCET. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission for Patna University Entrance Exam. Students who are found ineligible at the time of the admission process, will not be allowed to proceed further in the process. After qualifying PUCET, aspirants are required to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.

For candidates belonging to All India Quota, MPPET Round 2 seat allotment for Vikram University MCA cut off 2023 stood at 1332 for the General category. The closing rank for the PwD category was also 1332. In 2022, the closing rank for MCA stood at 1026 and 471 in 2021. On analysing Vikram University cutoff for MCA, candidates have witnessed an increase in cutoff trend for the General All India category.
