In this process, the committee screens the applications and sends out PI invites. The interviews are conducted in telephonic mode. In this round, students are evaluated based on various parameters such as knowledge about fields, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, etc.

Candidates who aspire to enroll into the Presidency College BCA courses must first check the eligibility requirements. As per the official website, candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board of India are eligible to apply. Other than this, candidates who have passed JODC or Diploma in Engineering (of three-year duration of Government of Karnataka) with a minimum of 35% of aggregate marks in every semester/year are also eligible to apply.
