Based on 10+2 grades, TNEA counseling is the main method of admission to ARM College of Engineering and Technology's B.E./B.Tech programs. However admittance without TNEA is permitted due to the management quota which limits the number of seats available. Candidates must still apply directly through the college's admission office and meet the qualifying requirements, which are 50% in mathematics, chemistry and physics 40% for SC/ST and 45% for BC/MBC. Higher prices and availability may apply to management quota seats which are chosen either directly or on the basis of merit.

No, for the B.E./B.Tech courses at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology and Management (RKGITM), admission is primarily based on entrance exams like JEE Main and CUET, followed by UPTAC counseling. Direct admission is generally not available for B.Tech first year. However, there is an exception for B.Tech lateral entry where candidates with a three-year engineering Diploma can apply directly.
