It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for BTech courses among IIITM Gwalior and IIIT Allahabad, because the BTech admission process for all IIITs is almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their BTech/ Class 12 from recognised board of education, with a minimum of 75% and then candidates have to appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination, followed by JoSAA counselling.

The institute offers a total number of 445 seats in the BTech course, from which IIITM Gwalior offers a maximum number of seats for BTech in CSE courses. The total number of seats offered to BTech in CSE specialisation is 75. To get admission into BTech courses at IIITM Gwalior, candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria first, followed by secondary eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria require candidates to complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%. Yes, IIITM Gwalior does offer BTech courses for the duration of over four years, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The institute offers BTech courses in three specialisations. Additionally, the university also a five-year integrated BTech + M.Tech courses for the duration of over five years. The basic eligibility criteria required by the candidates to get admission into BTech courses is they must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%.
