Entry to the Vasavi College of Engineering also known as VCE for the B.E./B.Tech courses can be obtained without the Andhra Pradesh ECET. The admissions are most often through, TS EAMCET (70% capacity) apart from that there is a management quota (30% capacity). For the Management quota, there is no entrance test, but then the candidate must score 45% in their 10+2 (PCM).
