Eligibility:

Academic Qualification: One must clear the 10+2 level examination from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory subjects. In regard to obtaining the minimum percentages, it differs for each category- General, Backward Classes, etc. For the current year, check the official website or look out the prospectus by this college.
Entrance Exam: Admission to B.E. / B.Tech programs at SJCE is mainly through your score in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) entrance exam.
Selection Process:

TNEA Application: Apply and appear for the TNEA entrance exam. The application window usually opens in December.
Ranking and Counselling: Thereafter, based on the obtained score in TNEA, a ranking would be assigned. The subsequent stages involve TNEA rounds of counselling where candidates have to choose colleges of interest as well as preferred courses and can also apply to SJCE. 
The allotted seats depend upon rank secured in TNEA, college preference and the available seats.

Yes, admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) is possible without PULEET as the basis for admitting students on the score obtained at the entrance examination-JEE Main. JEE Main can also be taken as an alternative to PULEET for entry into the B.Tech programmes in the college. You can apply for direct lateral entry through the centralized counseling process conducted by the Punjab Government or PTU if you have cleared JEE Main and meet the eligibility criteria. PULEET is for lateral entry only to second-year B.Tech admissions where students are either Diploma holders in engineering or those with diploma.

Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at Government College of Engineering, Karad is open through MHT-CET only to some categories of applicants. 

JEE Main Scores: The Institute accepts the scores available for JEE Main by way of exemption from MHT- CET for admission. Candidates can apply for admission using their JEE Main ranks during the centralised admission process CAP conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

All India Quota: Some seats are set aside for admission from the all India quota on the basis of the score obtained in the JEE Main.

NRI/Management Quota: If available, some may be filled through management or NRI quota under specific institutional rules.
