CPT full form is Curricular Practical Training. Whereas, OPT stands for Optional Practical Training. You can apply for both of these simultaneously. However, it should be noted that the CPT can be authorized only until the last day of the final quarter.

Cpt and ipcc were in the old course, in the new course, you have three levels
-The first is CA foundation
-The second is CA intermediate
-and the third is CA final
as you have completed your B.Com you can directly appear in intermediate
After clearing intermediate you can apply for articleship, generally the articleship period is around 2 years.

Hi, After Completing Common Proficiency Test (CPT), you have to register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPC) with ICAI. You are eligible for that after 9 months of passing of CPT. IPC is the second level under the course of CA. The IPC examination is conducted twice a year. There are 2 groups. You have to score minimum of 40% in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in each group in order to qualify the exam. Hope it helps!

For CA you don't need to go to college as there is no college specifically for CA but if you want to pursue B.Com with CA as the syllabus of B.Com is much related to the syllabus of B.Com. So it is a good option to pursue B.Com with CA. For part-time B.Com. You can consider Chandigarh University as it is ranked among the best private universities in India. There are top-notch companies coming for placements. The faculty is really good. I wish you all the very best in your future endeavor.
