Yes, students can appear for UPSC civil services examination after completing their Criminology subject course. For eligibility in UPSC examination, students must at least complete their graduation such as BA or BSc Criminology from a recognised university of India.

UPSC is one of the toughest examinations in India and requires qualification in all three stages that is Prelims, Mains and Interview. Students need at least 6 months to 1 year to properly prepare for UPSC exam.

Yes, you can admission criminology if you are from a commerce background. There are many criminology courses, especially at the postgraduate level. The eligibility criteria vary by university and country.

There are some option:-

1.Bachelor's in Criminology:- some university require a background in science, psychology or law but many accept commerce students as well.

2.Postgraduate in Criminology:-Most programs accept graduates from various fields

The eligibility criteria for admission to Criminology colleges in Tamil Nadu, depends on the level at which it is being pursued and the college from which the student chooses to pursue it. All colleges have their own specific criteria; however, a general idea for the eligibility is mentioned below:

For UG Courses

  • BA: Class 12 or equivalent in any stream with a  minimum of 50% marks
  • BSc: Class 12 or equivalent in Science (PCM/B) stream with minimum 50% marks

For PG Courses

  • MA: Any graduate with at least 50% marks in graduation
  • MSc: Any BSc graduate with at least 50% marks in graduation
