To prepare for CUET as a PCMB student aiming for Psychology, focus on understanding the CUET syllabus, practicing with mock tests and previous year papers, and building a strong foundation in psychology concepts. Prioritize studying the psychology-specific domain and the general test, while also utilizing your PCMB knowledge for related areas like biological and social aspects of behavior.

Yes, it is possible to get admission into Guwahati University for undergraduate programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Guwahati University accepts CUET scores for various undergraduate courses, including BA and BSc programs.

CUET is mandatory, you also need to meet the specific eligibility criteria set by the university for the particular programme you are applying for. This may include minimum marks in your class 12 board exams. For example, for BSc programs, a minimum aggregate score of 40% in class 12 is generally required.

For BA LLB courses, subjects like Political Science, English, and General Test in CUET are highly recommended. DAV College, like many law colleges, values critical reasoning and legal aptitude. While the General Test is optional for some universities, choosing it can enhance your chances as it evaluates logical thinking and current affairs knowledge, which are crucial for law programs. Review the university's specific requirements before finalising your subject selection.

In CUET, students are generally allowed to choose a domain subject they did not study in Class 12, provided the university they are applying to does not restrict eligibility based on that subject. For example, some universities require students to have studied specific subjects like Mathematics for certain courses. Therefore, while CUET offers flexibility, you must cross-check the eligibility criteria of your desired universities or programs to avoid rejection during counselling or admission verification.
