CUET UG exam is a standardised test conducted for admission to undergraduate programs offered by central, state, private and deemed universities. This exam was introduced in 2022 to conduct fair admissions in top colleges and universities for students across different boards. The exam is conducted annually for 13 langauges, 23 domain subjects and General Aptitude Test.

Yes, CUET English syllabus 2026 has been released at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the CUET English syllabus online. Candidates can know the important topics and syllabus to cover. CUET English 2026 exam will be held tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026 in CBT mode.

Candidates can check CUET DU cutoff 2026 soon after the declaration of CUET 2026 results. Delhi University will release the CUET DU cutoff 2026 at admissions.du.ac.in. The list is expected to be released in third week of August 2026. Candidates can follow the steps below to download DU cut off 2026 for CUET

  • Go to Delhi University official website- admissions.du.ac.in
  • Click on tab 'UG first cutoff list'
  • Check course wise CUET cutoff

Aligarh Muslim University does not release CUET UG cutoff list. Candidates applying for admission to AMU through CUET UG 2026 scores, will have to register for counselling process once the CUET 2026 results are declared. AMU will release the CUET merit list 2026 for registered candidates.

CUET UG 2026 question paper will include four answer options for each question. Candidates must read the questions carefully and mark any one of the options which is correct. Candidates will get negative marking for every wrong answer. Hence, candidates must attempt questions carefully  to avoid any negative marking.

The CUET General Test is moderate in difficulty level. The exam is not very difficult if the candidate is prepared well for the exam. CUET General Test assess candidate's basic aptitude, reasoning and general awareness. CUET General Test includes topics like percentages, profit & loss, ratio & proportions, time & work, simple compound & interest and may more topics in class 12th NCERT curriculum.

As an IILM University student, the most effective way I found to revise multiple CUET subjects in a short time is to be smart, not exhaustive.

 

First, I focus only on high-weightage and frequently repeated topics from each subject instead of trying to cover everything. That alone saves a lot of time.

 

Second, I make short notes and formula sheets (or use already-made ones) and revise them daily. Quick revision works better than deep reading at the last moment.

 

Third, I practice PYQs and mock tests regularly. CUET questions follow a pattern, and solving them helps revise concepts faster than books.
