Uni of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is generally considered the better option for higher studies in the UAE, than Curtin Dubai for the following reasons:

  • Better industry-connections in the Dubai job market for Business, Engineering, and IT programs
  • More affordable tuition fee (INR 14.3 Lakhs-INR 15.5 Lakhs) compared to Curtin's (INR 30.3 Lakhs-INR 68.35 Lakhs)

Yes, credits are smoothly transferred between Curtin campuses, as units are taught to the same standard across campuses. This mean students can continue their degree without repeating the coursework.

To be eligible for credit transfer at Curtin, students need to meet the below conditions:

  • Completed formal study, such as units at Curtin or another recognised university
  • Completed professional training or certfications
  • Have relevant work/life experience, with skills that apply to your new course
  • Completed TAFE or VET qualifications (Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas)

Yes, students can certainly transfer from Curtin's Dubai campus to its campuses in Perth, Malaysia, Singapore, or Mauritius. Steps to transfer between Curtin Uni campuses are:

  • Complete a Campus Transfer Request form
  • Submit your completed request form via the International Application Enquiries form
  • Wait for the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) to arrive and accept the same
  • Apply for an Australia Student Visa

Applying for campus transfer at least 5 months in advance to the start of the semester/trimester is recommended.
