Yes, CUSAT offers a BSc degree to students. Candidates willing to pursue a BSc at CUSAT have to enrol themselves into the Integrated MSc programme offered at CUSAT. The university offers eight Integrated BSc + MSc courses in the full-time mode. The duration of these courses is five years, which is further divided into ten semesters. Candidates successfully completing six semesters of the programme are eligible to exit the programme with a BSc degree. Students looking for quality technical education can select any of the various BTech courses at CUSAT. In order to be eligible for Cochin University of Science and Technology BTech, students must ensure qualification from their Higher Secondary and previous qualifying examinations.

Additionally, the university also requires the relevant entrance-test for a large number of specialised courses. These entrance tests include CUSAT CAT,  CUSAT DAT,  CAT,  CMAT,  KMAT,  KMAT Kerala, etc.

The counselling schedule for Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college. The last date to apply was June 30, 2024, and counseling was completed till 10th September 2024 for B.Tech.
